How Does It Work?

The weight reduction properties of irvingia gabonensis have been

in Health and Disease. Both were randomized, double-blind,
placebo-controlled studies and both concluded that irvingia gabonensis
lowers body weight and favorably affects a number of metabolic
functions. It was shown that a dosage of 150 mg given twice daily prior
to meals resulted in significant improvements in body weight, body fat,
and waist circumference. (Within the 10-week trial, the group lost an
average of 28 pounds and 6 inches!) In addition, the group also
significantly decreased their levels of LDL cholesterol and
triglycerides, although growing their HDL (good) cholesterol.
